Ayurveda Initial Consultation
The ayurvedic consultation is a vital preliminary to your treatment program for a wide range of internal and external ailments as it enables your practitioner to gain the maximum possible amount of information with regard to your personal medical history and your current state of physical, mental and emotional health.
However, you don’t need to be ill for a consultation. If you’re seeking a better pathway to a balanced body and mind it can be just as beneficial.
Our initial consultation involves determining what your body type (Body constitution) is and the current state of balance or imbalance in the doshas.
An ayurvedic treatment plan is highly individualized. Based on your information the practitioner will make a personal dietary and lifestyle program to complement any treatment that may be offered. This may include customized herbal medicines, body treatments and exercise regimes based on individual needs. If necessary, some sort of detoxification programs will be advised, like ‘Panchkarma’, followed by a program for rebuilding the body’s strength and immunity. Customized herbal medicines are prepared for you after your consultation (cost additional).
